Overview
The Service Job Card is a document used to manage service jobs, track tasks, billable items, parts used, and generate invoices for services provided by a workshop or service center.

Using the Service Job Card
Creating a Service Job Card
To create a new Service Job Card, follow these steps:
- Go to Service > Service Job Card.
- Click on New.
- Fill in the required details such as customer, workshop, and description.
- Add tasks and parts used for the service job.
- Save the Service Job Card.
Updating Tasks and Parts
- To update tasks and parts, click on the respective sections and add or edit the details as needed.
- Ensure to mark tasks as completed when finished.
Unbilling Items
To unbill items from a service job:
- Open the Service Job Card.
- Click on the Unbill Item button.
- Select the items to unbill by checking the checkbox next to each item.
- Enter the quantity to return for each item.
- Click Select Item to unbill the selected items.
Creating a Stock Entry
To create a stock entry for the parts used:
- Ensure all parts used are added to the Service Job Card.
- Click on Create Stock Entry.
- Review the details and click Create.
Generating an Invoice
An invoice can be generated once the service job is completed:
- Ensure all tasks are marked as completed.
- Click on Create Invoice.
- Review the invoice details and click Generate Invoice.
User Interface Functions
Unbill Item Button
- The Unbill Item button allows you to unbill items that were previously billed for the service job.
- Select the items to unbill and enter the quantity to return for each item.
Create Stock Entry Button
- The Create Stock Entry button generates a stock entry for the parts used in the service job.
- Review the stock entry details before creating it.
